A major capacity expansion project has recently taken place in Kisláng, where a new warehouse was inaugurated on Tuesday.
F&R Partner Ltd., based in Kisláng, has been awarded nearly HUF 1.7 billion in conditionally reimbursable EU funding for the recent construction of a new warehouse building.
As project consultant János Makkay said before the handover on Tuesday, the F&R Group is one of Hungary's largest baking companies, famous for its high-quality bakery products, which are sold in grocery stores and shopping centres such as Tesco, Penny, ALDI, LIDL, but also in cooperation with many other companies. Their key products include toast rolls, French hot dog buns, bagel products, scones, hamburger buns and breadcrumbs.
4000 square metres of new warehouse
With the new infrastructure development, a new warehouse with a floor area of 4,000 square metres, including 1,200 square metres of automated frozen storage, and a storage capacity of 1,440 pallet spaces has been built.
Creating jobs
At the inauguration ceremony, Zoltán Méry, Managing Director of F&R Partner Ltd. thanked everyone for their intervention in the project and said that this and future developments will provide employment for more people living in Kisláng and the surrounding villages.
The new warehouse building was inaugurated with a symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony by Zoltán Méry, Managing Director, Mihály Kovács, Mayor of Kisláng and János Makkay, project consultant.
The total cost of the project was around €3.3 billion.
