Development of health-conscious bakery products - and production technology innovation at F&R Partner Kft. in Budaörs

In spring 2018, F&R Partner Bakery Trading Ltd. submitted a grant application for the call for proposals 2018-1.1.1-MKI "Support for innovation activities of micro and small enterprises" to develop the NASIZZ breakfast product line as a new health-conscious bakery product line.

More than HUF 94.4 million in non-reimbursable grants were awarded. The project is funded by the National Research Development and Innovation Fund and has a total cost of more than HUF 132.8 million.

F&R Partner Kft. was founded in 2010, 100% is a Hungarian owned company. The basic idea of the company is the production and trade of products for which there is a continuous and steady demand (initially trade in bakery products, later the main profile is the production of fresh bread and bakery products). The company is committed to the use of natural ingredients and homemade recipes from the last century, food safety is guaranteed by the operation according to the IFS standard.

The development of this project aims to develop a modified starch-based system that meets consumer expectations in all aspects, not only to create a type of dough rich in dietary fibre, but also to make the fillings an important part of the product. The fillings chosen are also important to ensure that the products developed are fully geared towards health-conscious nutrition. The development of the NASIZZ range will involve the creation of a production line suitable for mass production and the definition of technological parameters that have not yet been applied to the production of filled bakery products.

The duration of the research and development project is 24 months, with a planned completion date of 29.05.2021.
