There is a growing emphasis on health-conscious eating, with many people looking for foods containing only natural ingredients.
There is a wide range of healthy pastries on the shelves, from wholemeal, seeded and vegetable to a variety of healthy cereals. There are also additive-free products, more commonly known as E-free products. The E numbering system for the labelling and identification of food additives was developed by the European Union in the 1960s to avoid translation problems and possible misunderstandings. A Hungarian Food Guide is defined as a food additive " any substance not consumed as a food in itself and not used as an ingredient of a typical food, regardless of whether, whether or not it has nutritional value, intentionally added for technological purposes during the manufacture, processing, preparation, handling, packaging, transport and storage of a food"It is also worth knowing that behind many E-numbers we find substances found in nature that can have a positive physiological effect, without any adverse health effects on the human body." So, while we cannot say that all E-numbers are bad for your health, it is important to be aware of which ones are OK to consume.
However, they may pose a health risk for certain groups of consumers, as they can cause allergic symptoms or intolerance in people who are particularly sensitive to them. It is therefore worthwhile to think about prevention and choose health-conscious products.
From Aldi available in shops Our E-free bread range contain only natural ingredients and no additives with E numbers, such as flour treatment agents or emulsifiers. Preservatives are also E-numbered and are therefore also banned in these breads. This means that they will keep fresh for up to 4 days, so it is worth putting them in the freezer if you know they will not run out in a few days. Six varieties are available: Sliced rye bread, Sliced fitness Bread, Sliced carrot bread, Bread with pumpkin seeds, Sliced wholegrain cornflakes and Sliced spelt and grouse. Their main ingredients are rye and wheat flour and various seeds. They taste like bread baked at home. And when you eat them, you can be sure that they contain only naturally occurring ingredients.
