Bruschetta with chanterelles

If it's autumn, it's mushroom season! We can find our own mushrooms for dinner on an adventurous hike, but it's always important to get them tested!

Bruschetta is an Italian dish, eaten as early as the 15th century. It is a toasted slice of bread, drizzled with olive oil and possibly sprinkled with salt, pepper and garlic. It is even more delicious if you put the bread slices in the oven, drizzled with olive oil and topped with parmesan to taste, and then, when cooked, you can add the topping of your choice. The most popular version is the tomato one, but it is best eaten with seasonal vegetables and herbs.

Ingredients:

Drizzle the sliced bread with olive oil and place in the oven at 180 degrees until nicely browned. Meanwhile, prepare the chanterelle topping: fry a head of chopped red onion in olive oil, then add the chanterelles, cleaned and chopped. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like you can add a clove of garlic. Dredge the bread while still warm and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
